A single damaged laminate plank doesn't mean replacing the whole floor. With the right approach you can swap one plank without disturbing the surrounding boards.
Tape off the plank edges. Use an oscillating tool to cut a rectangle inside the plank staying at least half an inch from all edges. Remove the center first, then pry out the remaining border sections carefully.
For click-lock floors, cut off the bottom lip of the groove on the replacement plank. Apply a thin bead of wood glue around all four edges. Slide into the opening and press down firmly.
Wipe away glue squeeze-out immediately. Put weight on it for 20-30 minutes. Make sure seams are tight and the plank sits level.
