A wobbling ceiling fan is annoying, inefficient, and puts stress on the mount over time. The fix is almost always loose screws or unbalanced blades.
Turn the fan off and wait for blades to stop. Check every screw where blade brackets attach to the blades and where brackets attach to the motor. Tighten every one firmly.
Check the screws securing the canopy to the ceiling mount — a loose mounting bracket causes the whole fan to wobble. Wipe each blade clean to remove uneven dust buildup.
Clip the provided weight onto the trailing edge of one blade and run the fan. Move the clip to different blades until you find the one that reduces the wobble most. Stick the adhesive weight permanently in that position.
